Holly Hazard is a wife, mom, attorney, coach, outspoken community voice and dedicated public servant who will bring her experience and knowledge to continue advocating for her community.
Earning a bachelor's degree in political science, cum laude, from the University of Richmond, Hazard received her juris doctorate from the College of William and Mary School of Law. Holly worked at the Federal Aviation Administration and at several law firms prior to moving overseas for 4 years as a military spouse
Holly was appointed to serve on the Stafford County Planning Commission and was involved in the revision of the County's out-dated Comprehensive Plan.
Holly served as a school volunteer and PTO Board President before being appointed to represent the Hartwood District on the Stafford County Board of Education in 2012. She has since been elected to two full terms and currently serves as Chair.
As a board member, Holly had been a fierce advocate for Stafford students, promoting transparency, fiscal responsibility and parental involvement. She has led the efforts to return students safely to the classroom, invest in new technologies and collaborate with law enforcement to keep students safe.
Holly and her husband Charles have called Stafford home for 20 years, where they’ve raised two children. They serve together in their church, youth programs, and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Their daughters, Charlotte & Helen, attended Stafford Public Schools and Charlotte is now a conservative student activist and College Republican at Liberty University.
